EL BAHIA Restaurant is a warm and friendly place. Quality and simplicity are essential.
Since 2018, they have been offering a menu representative of traditional Moroccan gastronomy (couscous, pastilla, tajine, etc.).
Our cellar is made up mainly of wines from harvesters that go well with all dishes.
In Morocco, Pastilla is one of the most popular dishes. Whether as a starter or dessert, it is a traditional dish especially served at Moroccan receptions or weddings. There are several variants, namely: Savory pastillas, Sweet pastillas.
Tajine
A tagine or tagine is a large and shallow baking and serving dish topped with a conical lid, sometimes glazed in terracotta.
Which can be made from a mixture of meat, poultry or fish, vegetables or fruits and spices, and olive oil. The preparation of the tagine, the ingredients and the spices used differ according to the regions, but generally always on a wood fire.
Couscous
Couscous (in Berber: seksu or keskesu1) is on the one hand a durum wheat semolina prepared in olive oil
(one of the traditional staple foods of the Maghreb countries) and on the other hand, a culinary specialty from Berber cuisine, based on couscous, vegetables, spices, olive oil, and meat or fish.
